Before moving on to the next dinner possibility, DON'T be intimidated by veggies! The one thing I don't want you to do right now is get turned off by the word cabbage. If there is one thing I have learned over time it is that God knew what he was doing when he designed his vegetables. For the longest time I was especially not interested in a veggie that I couldn't just get out of a bag! But today you will learn to overcome your fear of this leafy little monster with Bacon and Cabbage Stir-Fry!
- 1 Cabbage head
- 1/2 package of bacon
Some of you may wish to be cautious with the butter, and that's fine. Add 1 tbs butter and stir, adding more a little at a time until sufficient covering is achieved. I added about 1/2 a stick and called it good. Next season it with 1 tsp salt, mix and taste, adding more until taste is perfect. A good way to know you have the perfect amount of salt is that it should make your mouth water slightly but not overwhelm the dish. Do the same with pepper until it tastes perfect!
